H2bid Widget Overview:
You can now use our H2bid Widget to search for bids (and tenders) in real time from your desktop. The widget is shown at right. Once installed, it will be an icon shown on your desktop. The widget is a convenient tool that you can easily install in 3 minutes or less. The widget is free and it allows you to conveniently search for open bids as often as you like in a few mouse clicks. The second image on the right shows a sample display of search results. The widget works with Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7 operating systems.
You can search for bids and tenders by keyword, country, and category. The search result will display the latest 30 bids that match your search. The sample on the right is a sample search result display for the keyword “meters.”
Clicking the link will take you to directly to the page for the bid in the H2bid website.
How to install the H2bid Widget:
| 1. | Click here to go to the download page. |
| 2. | You will see a file in zip format. |
| 3. | Click “Open” and you will see the H2bid_widget set up file. |
| 4. | Double click the set up file and click “Open”. |
| 5. | Select “Install” when the screen appears and asks your permission to install. |
| 6. | You may get a warning note during installation, if you are using Internet Explorer, click “Ok” and proceed with the above steps. |
How to uninstall the H2bid Widget:
| 1. | When you place your mouse curser over the H2bid Widget on your desktop, you will see a small “x” on the top right, next to the widget. Click the “x”. |
| 2. | Keep the curser on your desktop, far right in the Gadget Gallery (not on any icon) and right click. |
| 3. | You will see the option “Add Gadgets”. |
| 4. | Click it and you will see a small screen with all of your gadgets. |
| 5. | Place your curser over the H2bid icon and right click. |
| 6. | You will see the option to “uninstall”. |
| 7. | Click it and it will be gone from your computer. You can always download the H2bid Widget again from the widget link on our homepage, or simply repeating the installation steps above. |
